Membership

Membership in RARE is gained through nomination by a RARE member and consensus approval of the RARE members. Members are restricted to non-profit organizations, governmental agencies and educational institutions, with the exception of six renewable energy business members named by the Texas Renewable Energy Industries Association. Currently, these are:

• Sunergie, Inc.
• Meridian EnergySystems, Inc.

Prospective members must sign on to the RARE "Mission Statement" and its list of "points of agreement" reached through consensus over the life of the organization.
