This website is sponsored by the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), a public agency of the State of Texas.

The information is used for mailing informational materials to those who request them through the website's forms, for mailing prizes to winners of website-sponsored contests, for sending new materials and electronic mail updates with information about renewable energy.

4. With whom may the information be shared?

SECO will not share share collected information with other entities, public or private.

5. What choices are available regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?

Users who do not wish their information to be collected can use the website to retrieve information without any of their personal information being collected. Personally identifiable information is only collected when the user fills out a form asking for such information; thus, users can choose not to have any personally identifiable information about themselves collected by not filling out any forms.
