1. What personally identifiable information is collected through the web site?

This web site only collects personally identifiable information through forms (such as order forms, contest submission forms, etc.) that require physical entering of such information by the user. Such information may include items such as the user's name, company, occupation, mailing address, telephone or fax number, and/or electronic mail address.

This website is sponsored by the Texas State Energy Conservation Office (SECO), a public agency of the State of Texas.

The information is used for mailing informational materials to those who request them through the website's forms, for mailing prizes to winners of website-sponsored contests, for sending new materials and electronic mail updates with information about renewable energy.

SECO will not share share collected information with other entities, public or private.

Users who do not wish their information to be collected can use the website to retrieve information without any of their personal information being collected. Personally identifiable information is only collected when the user fills out a form asking for such information; thus, users can choose not to have any personally identifiable information about themselves collected by not filling out any forms.
